CATALYST YOUNG ADULTS: Catalyst is the young adult ministry of CT Church, for those between the ages of 18 & 30. We meet once a month, to cook together, eat together, study and discuss together. A few times a year we have praise and worship services, at the church, that we call "Gatherings". We follow this with a time of eating and hanging out together. Catalyst is all about relationships. It offers a great opportunity to
grow your relationship with God, and with others, close to your age.
It is very relaxed, and family friendly.

See Catalyst Facebook page for details.

P.L.A.C.E.:
Today more than any other time in history, people have more choices as to how to give their time. They find themselves asking, "Where do I fit in?" "Why am I here?" and "What can I do to make a lasting difference in my life and the lives of others?"

PLACE is an intentional process to connect people into purpose-driven ministry. Through the PLACE process, people discover that God has created and gifted them with a unique capacity to serve others.

The best way we can help you find your ministry is through attending a PLACE Workshop. PLACE stands for:
P – Personality Discovery
L – Learning Spiritual Gifts
A – Abilities Assessment
C – Connecting Passion with Ministry
E – Experiences of Life

PLACE serves as our membership class for CT Church.

FRIENDSHIP DINNER:
The Friendship Dinner happens every other year. This is a great event that offers more than food. The dinner represents a night of fun, food, fellowship, worship and the Word for all who attend. The dinner is organized by hostesses that invite ladies to sit at their table. A delicious meal is catered and the wonderful men of CT Church serve the tables. It is a "must attend" event and a great way to connect with others.

WE CARE MINISTRY:
Although we live in an ocean of words, we rarely acknowledge their power to uplift or put down, to inspire or discourage, to help or hurt. The We Care Ministry of CT is a ministry of words that offer hope, healing, and encouragement. Through the We Care Ministry, a team of volunteers sends get-well cards, sympathy cards and encouraging messages to those who submit prayer requests through the Connection Cards received on Sunday mornings. If you would like more information or would like to become involved in this important ministry, please contact Susan Nordin at susan@ctchurch.tv. Through your words, you’ll be giving a gift that has no price.

NURSING HOME MINISTRY:
One of the most rewarding ministries is the nursing home ministry. These saints are those who have paved the way for us that we might be where we are today. Through the nursing home ministry we take the time to sit and listen to those individuals that live in nursing homes as they share stories of when they were young and some of the obstacles that they have overcome in life.

We currently support two facilities. They are: Vista Continuing Care in Pasadena (every 3rd Saturday from 10 AM to 11 AM) and The Waterford in Deer Park (every Sunday afternoon from 2 - 3PM.) The residents always enjoy when we minister through music, song, and teaching of the Word. If you have musical talent, your participation would be welcomed. If you would like to be involved in this wonderful ministry opportunity, you may contact Joe & Ruth Canniff at jcanniff@swbell.net for more information.
