Each year in August, CT Church hosts a community event called the
Back-to-School Health Fair. We bring together many different vendors who donate their time and resources to children going back to school.

Such services include: Immunizations by BCBS, eye exams by Lens Crafters, dental screenings, scoliosis & chiropractic screenings, haircuts provided by San Jacinto College Cosmetology School, Houston Police Department finger-printing as well as mounted patrol & K-9 unit, MD Anderson Hospital Blood Drive, and many others. In addition, we provide school supplies and groceries and best of all, these services and gifts are all absolutely FREE for every family that attends this event.

Last year, over 4,000 people attended the Back-to-School Health Fair. Last year we partnered with Convoy of Hope to offer a tractor-trailer, hauling 30,000 pounds of groceries, for families in our community.

Please consider what you might do in helping us reach our community. Through your participation, a child will go back to school healthier, with a full backpack of school supplies, and ready for a new school year.

We will host a Health Fair Rally on Friday, July 30, 2010 at 7:00 P.M.
